Fine Arts

‘I am the size of what I see/ and not the size of my height.’ These are two lines from the poem ‘The Keeper of Flocks’ by Alberto Caeiro, (1889-1915), pseudonym of Fernando Pessoa (1888-1935). How much Caeiro’s aphorism is threatened, is proven by the impending closure of De Kunstlinie. This is where the students present their work in the yards of the building, work that reflects the tention between the poet’s and the artist’s experience.
