People keep on growing taller, therefore needing more energy, more food and more space. But what would happen if we decide to break with this trend? THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN (TISM), led by Arne
Hendriks, is a speculative research into the possible consequences of shrinking human beings to a height of 50 centimetres. In the last nine months 11 students of the Royal Academy of Art joined the KABK Research Lab TISM. The results will be presented and continued in Milan through films, installations, drawings and objects. Besides this, Arne Hendriks temporarily moves his office to Milan to continue the research on stage and to react on the students’ work.
